Introduction
The project is basically a Boggle game using speech
recognition. Boggle is a word-game consisting of 16 different letter dices
which are shaken and randomly dropped onto a letter tray with a 4x4 grid. The
task is to find as many words as possible in three minutes by combining the
letters with their neighbour dices. Points are given depending of the length
of the words. In a regular Boggle game, the players write down the words on a
paper, but this project simplifies this part of the game by using speech
recognition. This allows the player to speak directly to the game with a
microphone and the words are immediately compared to the speech recognition
software’s dictionary.
